Unit Management Committee

The Unit Management Committee (UMC) are responsible for all non-training aspects of the running of unit. They provide the main source of income to the unit and are resposible for the welfare of staff and cadets at unit.

Along with the Commanding Officer the UMC are responsible for providing the unit with sufficent funds to carry out training, enuring the unit follows current Health and Safety policy and overall provides a good level of training to its cadets and staff.

Currently the unitis looking people to join its current UMC. You do not need to have any experiance of the Sea Cadet Corps or the training we offer, but some experiance of working with a charity or youth group would be an advantage.

The UMC is a 'hands-off' role, but an important one. If you think that you can help please contact the Commanding Officer on any parade night.
