The Unit unarmed squad attended the National Drill Competition at HMS Raleigh from 24th-26th April.and I am proud to say they won,two trophies and were overalll silver medallists.This is an amazing achievement for a very young squad and a tribute to all the hard work put in by the Cadets and Staff since November last year.The squad won best dressed squad ,and thanks for that must go to CI Lesley Wood and Mrs Teresa Silverthorne,best Squad Commander,a massive well done to Leading Cadet Mitchell Silverthorne and finally many congratulations to PPO Sam Silverthorne for training the Squad to a level where they were so close to winning the gold medals in her first year as the Unit Drill Instuctor and for most of that year being a Cadet herself. WELL DONE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!
