The Marine Cadet Detachment

Are you up to the challenge? Cadet taking part in shooting

Bristol Adventure Marine Cadet Detachment is for any of you up to the challenge aged between 13 and 18. As part of T.S. Adventure Sea Cadet Unit, as the Royal Marine Commando’s are part of the Navy, we are based near Cumberland Basin in Bristol. Our brilliant setting enables us to use our rigid raider around Bristol Docks as well as spending days and weekends in the field, tackling arduous assault courses, like the one at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines in Devon and much more.

Cadets on expeditionWith events throughout the year we can guarantee you’ll always be busy! It could be anything from survival techniques, rock climbing, kayaking, weapons training to ceremonial parades, like Trafalgar Day in London or the Remembrance parade in Bristol. Cadets taking part in a log run

There is a rank structure in place and the training you will be provided with can guarantee that with enough work and effort one day you could be the Cadet Sergeant at the top of your game and leading the rest of your unit!

For more information on what you can do as a Marine Cadet contact the unit on any parade night.
